The package

The packages are made with special care both to absorb physical and thermic shock. Packages contain at least 4 protections:

  • Double spline box
  • Thermic layer with layer of bubble wrap
  • Foam wedge
  • Layer of bubble wrap

 

 

At the customer's request, thermal protection can be added to particulary hot climates. If a significant additional cost is found, a client's participation can be asked.


For a small order, the carton may be replaced by a rigid envelope and strengthened.

Taking into account our environmental impact

In order to reduce further the environmental impact of our shipments, green materials are preferred:

  • The cardboard is recyclable
  • The paper delivery is recycled paper

Prepare the package

Packages are generally dispatched within 48 hours (24 hours for a urgent order) after receipt of your order. The shelf life is reduced to a minumum between the manufacturer and shipping. Therefore, the time consumption of chocolate sent is guaranteed at least one month, but it is usually between 3 and 6 months.

Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage. They therefore contain a fixed portion and a variable portion based on the weight of your order. We advise you to group your items in one order. We can not group two distinct orders and you will pay the postage for each.

The tracking

All shipments are insured by the Swiss National post and its partners. All packages are shipped recommended without signatures.
The package ID is always delivered to the customer to enable the on-site monitoring of our service.

Delivery

Delivery times are indicative. They are usually

  • 4-6 days (plus preparation time) for an urgent shipment
  • 10 to 15 days (plus preparation time) for sending normal


For reasons of security, many local laws refuse shipments by express carriers.

Returns

For obvious reasons of hygiene and safety, returns are not accepted without written authorization of Swisschocolate-online.com. Before any return, it is necessary to make contact.

If a package returned for non-delivery, the return is at customer's expense. Swisschocolate-online.com can not be held responsible for non-receipt of package.
